During the current COVID19 epidemic, NCCW will not be offering classes to non-members. We plan to offer them again to the public once the epidemic conditions lighten up. Thank you for your interest.
Our Classes. NorthCoast Community Woodshop offers classes for members and non-members taught by members who are qualified woodworkers. The classes target beginners or novices in the topic area for each class – turning wood on a lathe, using different joinery or equipment, making simple pieces of furniture or decorative items. Most are one day classes on Saturdays. All materials are included with the price of the class. Our class sizes are small, so they usually fill up fast. We normally post them on our website in August for the Fall session and in December for the Winter/Spring session.
You can view classes that are currently available below and click on them for more detail. Registration can be done on the page for an individual class by clicking on “Register Now”. Non-members are required to pay ahead of the class at the time of registration to reserve a class spot. You can pay by credit card on this website. If you need to cancel and we can fill it from a wait list we will refund the cost of the class. Members can pay by credit card on the website or bring a check/cash the day of the class. A confirmation and reminder will be sent by email prior to the class.
