Classes
Our Classes. NorthCoast Community Woodshop offers classes taught by members who are qualified woodworkers. The classes target beginners or novices in the topic area for each class – turning wood on a lathe, using different joinery or equipment, making simple pieces of furniture or decorative items. Most are one day classes on Saturdays. Classes start at 9AM and usually end by 4PM. All materials are included with the price of the class. Our class sizes are small, so they usually fill up fast. We normally post them on our website in August for the Fall session and in December for the Winter/Spring session.
Classes are for members only at this time. Please consider joining if you are interested in a class. See our Home Page or Membership Page to join.
You can view classes that are currently available below and click on them for more detail. Members can register on the page for an individual class by clicking on “Register Now”. Payment can be made by credit card or Paypal. If you need to cancel: If we can fill your spot from a waitlist, we will refund the cost of the class. A confirmation and reminder will be sent by email prior to the class.
